Gate News message, April 23 — Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated during a meeting with a South Korean envoy in Tehran that U.S. and Israeli aggression is the root cause of insecurity in the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz. He called on countries to take clear and firm positions condemning these attacks.
Araghchi emphasized that Iran, as a coastal nation, has taken measures in accordance with international law to defend its security and interests, adding that all consequences of aggression rest with the aggressors.
