Israel Will Not Withdraw from Lebanon Despite U.S. Pressure, Defense Minister Says

According to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Israel will not withdraw from southern Lebanon on June 24, even if the United States requests it. Gallant stated that 200,000 Lebanese residents have been displaced due to Israeli military operations. He cited past security incidents, including roadside bombings and attacks on soldiers in designated safe zones, as reasons why Israel will maintain its presence.
