Jensen Huang Defines AI Agent Architecture at GTC Taipei 2026: LLM Plus Orchestration Engine

GateNews

According to 动察 Beating, Jensen Huang outlined a new computing paradigm at GTC Taipei 2026, defining AI Agents as combining large language models for reasoning and planning with external orchestration engines (harnesses) that connect models to tools like spreadsheets, browsers, and databases. The model manages working and long-term memory, shifting the interaction model from "launching apps and clicking" to "describing intent to AI, which generates code, invokes tools, and produces results."

Huang countered claims that Agents will eliminate software companies, stating the opposite is true: as the world is no longer limited by human numbers, Agents will use software tools far more extensively than humans. He announced that NVIDIA's CUDA X libraries are now fully open to Agents, with efficiency exceeding human developer usage.
