Jeongwon Encys Announces 10 Billion Won Share Buyback and Full Cancellation Starting July 27

According to Financial News, on July 24, Jeongwon Encys announced plans to repurchase and cancel 10 billion won of its own shares over three months starting July 27 through NH Investment Securities. All acquired shares will be immediately cancelled. This follows a previous 14 billion won share cancellation last month, as the company aims to reduce outstanding shares and raise per-share value.

The company also initiated a revaluation of eight real estate properties, with its Seoul headquarters site in Gangnam's Sinsa-dong estimated at over 50 billion won—exceeding current market capitalization. Jeongwon Encys maintains 200 billion won in annual revenue and recorded consecutive three-year operating profits, though its stock trades at a PBR of 0.6x, indicating significant undervaluation relative to asset value and earnings fundamentals.
