Kalshi saw trading volume exceed $5.5 billion in the first two weeks following its launch of perpetual futures contracts, according to co-founder Tarek Mansour. The company plans to expand the product beyond digital assets into other asset classes, with discussions ongoing with regulators about adding more perpetual contracts. Kalshi's perpetual futures are the first such products approved by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
