KB Kookmin Bank Launches JPMorgan's Kinexys-Based USD Payments to 10 Countries in August

According to Bitcoin.com News, KB Kookmin Bank, a unit of KB Financial Group ($552.76 billion in assets), will launch JPMorgan's Kinexys-based USD payment service to 10 countries starting in August 2026. The service covers transfers to the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, South Africa, and domestic transfers within South Korea, targeting import and export businesses.

Kinexys, JPMorgan's blockchain-based institutional payments platform, has processed over $4 trillion in cumulative transaction volume since launch, with daily activity exceeding $7 billion. The platform enables near-real-time foreign exchange settlement and programmable payments without relying on public crypto tokens.
