Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Landing Gear Collapses at Frankfurt Airport Today, Multiple Crew Injured

According to CCTV, a Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 had its front landing gear collapse today (June 4) while docking at a gate at Frankfurt Airport, damaging the aircraft and injuring multiple crew members who received medical treatment. The aircraft's scheduled flight LH450 to Los Angeles was cancelled as a result. Frankfurt Airport and Lufthansa have not disclosed the cause of the incident. The aircraft was delivered in January 2026.
