Malaysia Palm Oil Futures Fall 0.83% to 4,683 Ringgit on Monday, Down from 15-Week High

According to Jin10 Futures, Malaysia palm oil futures fell 0.83% to 4,683 ringgit per metric ton on Monday (July 27), retreating from a 15-week high reached in the previous trading session. The decline was driven by falling crude oil prices, which dropped 5% after the U.S. and Iran paused military operations over the weekend, raising hopes for diplomatic resolution in the Middle East. Weaker crude futures reduced the appeal of palm oil as a biodiesel feedstock, with soybean oil contracts falling 1.36% on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and palm oil contracts at China's Dalian Commodity Exchange declining 1.35%.
