Meta Expands AI Business Agent to WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram on June 3

According to Meta, on June 3, the company expanded Meta Business Agent across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram globally. The AI tool automates customer interactions and sales activities for businesses. More than 1 million businesses already use Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp and Messenger, with over 1 billion active business chat threads daily across all three platforms.

Meta also launched the Meta Business Agent Platform, enabling businesses to integrate the agent with systems such as Shopify, Zendesk, and Shopee. Getting started is free, with paid subscription options coming in the following months.
