According to Beating, MoE Capital, an early-stage venture fund founded by former AGI House members, completed its first closing of $25 million this month. The fund is distinguished by its deep network of active researchers from frontier AI labs including OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI serving as LPs and advisors.
The firm aims to build information advantages in competitive early-stage AI investment through its researcher community, enabling researchers at major labs to refer departing colleagues with entrepreneurial ambitions. MoE Capital has already invested in Phylo, which develops biomedical AI agents, and neolab's Recursive Superintelligence.
