Morgan Stanley Analyst Turns Bearish on NAND Storage, Sees 13-Week Inventory Buildup

According to Citrini analyst Jukan citing a Morgan Stanley research report, analyst Shawn Kim recently turned bearish on NAND flash memory. The report indicates NAND module inventories have risen to approximately 13 weeks with cooling demand, predicting fourth-quarter NAND price increases will slow to around 5%, while spot prices have declined for two consecutive months. Jukan stated the outlook could be contributing to South Korea's KOSPI index recent pullback.
