Neoview Plunges 27.9% on First Trading Day After Spin-off, July 27

According to Korea Exchange, Neoview, the newly spun-off automotive display subsidiary of monitor manufacturer Tobis, slumped 27.89% to 18,460 Korean won on its first day of trading on July 27. The company opened at 25,600 won, its initial offer price determined through morning auction without a reference price. The sharp volatility was attributed to the absence of a benchmark price, which allowed larger price fluctuations during early trading. Neoview manufactures vehicle displays including digital cockpits, clusters, and infotainment systems.
