Nestlé Invests $688M in AI-Powered Factory in Thailand, to Open in Q4 2028

Thailand's Board of Investment approved on July 9 a 23 billion baht ($688 million) investment by Nestlé to build an AI-powered automated factory and distribution center in Samut Prakan. The facility will produce 170,000 metric tons of coffee products annually and create over 520 jobs, with an expected opening in the fourth quarter of 2028. The project is expected to source approximately 4.3 billion baht ($130 million) in local agricultural inputs and raw materials yearly.
