According to a media statement from Nexo, the digital asset wealth platform has partnered with two German-regulated firms, Tangany and DLT Finance, to achieve full EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) compliance across European Economic Area (EEA) markets. Tangany, licensed under MiCAR by Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), provides segregated digital asset custody infrastructure, while DLT Finance, authorized under both MiCAR and MiFID II, delivers brokerage and execution infrastructure.

Nexo serves approximately 10 million global clients and has maintained uninterrupted EEA services following a testing phase. Eleonor Genova, head of communications at Nexo, told Bitcoin.com News that regulatory clarity strengthens industry credibility. "A framework like MiCAR gives institutions and clients a defined standard to measure a platform against," Genova stated, adding that companies operating within regulatory requirements are positioned to function with confidence across the EEA as the market consolidates around verified compliance.
