According to Gate data, on June 30, Japan's Nikkei 225 index opened 734.46 points higher at 70,202.57, up 1.06%; South Korea's KOSPI index rose 64.56 points to 8,459.21, up 0.77%. Among individual stocks, Samsung Electronics gained 2% and SK Hynix rose 1%.
