Non-USD Currencies Rise Broadly on June 16, EUR +0.18%, GBP +0.13%

On June 16 at the New York close, non-USD currencies surged broadly. The euro gained 0.18% to 1.1612 against the dollar, while sterling rose 0.13% to 1.3431. The dollar declined 0.17% versus the Swiss franc to 0.7931.

Among commodity currencies, the New Zealand dollar advanced 0.26%, while the Australian dollar and Canadian dollar traded relatively flat. European currencies also strengthened, with the Swedish krona up 0.44%, Norwegian krone up 0.65%, and the Polish zloty climbing 0.44%.
