Nvidia Expands AI Partnerships with Toyota, Mizuho, and Hitachi on July 16

According to Yonhap Infomax, Nvidia today expanded collaboration with major Japanese companies including Toyota, Mizuho, and Hitachi to build AI infrastructure across automotive, finance, and quantum computing sectors. Toyota will develop next-generation vehicles equipped with Nvidia's Drive AGX platform and Drive OS, incorporating L2++ advanced driver assistance systems powered by Nvidia's Nemotron code generation AI model.

Mizuho announced plans to establish Japan's largest on-premises AI factory based on Nvidia's DGX B200 systems, enabling in-house AI agents for financial data analysis without external data transfer. The RIKEN research institute began operations of supercomputer RIKYU, equipped with 1,600 Blackwell GPUs for life sciences and material science research, alongside quantum-classical hybrid computing system ROQUO.
