Oman Launches Omanhash.om National Bitcoin Mining Pool Controlling 3% of Global Hashrate on June 17

According to bitcoin.com, Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) launched Omanhash.om on June 17, 2026, establishing the official and sole legal mining pool for all licensed operators in the Sultanate. Participation is mandatory.

Oman controls approximately 3% of global network hashrate, or roughly 30 EH/s, according to Hashrate Index Q2 2026 data. Enegix Global, a vertically integrated digital energy company, provided the technology platform and liquidity infrastructure. This marks Enegix's second sovereign-level mining pool mandate, following Kazakhstan's btcpool.kz launched in October 2023.
