According to PANews, OpenAI announced on May 16 a personal finance management service for U.S. ChatGPT Pro users. The service enables users to securely connect bank and investment accounts to ChatGPT, view a cash flow dashboard, and receive AI-powered financial guidance based on their personal situation while maintaining full data control. OpenAI stated the feature is not a substitute for professional financial advice but combines complex personal finance questions with GPT-5.5’s reasoning capabilities to provide tailored solutions. The company plans to gradually expand the service to Plus and all users. Users can disconnect accounts or delete financial data at any time; all account information is used solely for personalized financial services and will not be modified.
