According to Jin10, PBOC Vice Governor Xuan Changning attended the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Governors Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland, on May 10-11. Central bank governors engaged in in-depth discussions on global economic and financial conditions, the transmission effects of oil price shocks on monetary policy, and emerging market risks and challenges. During the meeting, Xuan also met with representatives from other central banks to exchange views on matters of mutual concern.
