According to Polish Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewskipoland announced on May 12 that it has submitted multiple location proposals to the U.S. for military deployment, aiming to strengthen American military presence on NATO’s eastern flank. Zalewskistated in Brussels that Poland’s goal is to enhance U.S. military capabilities both domestically and across NATO’s eastern wing. The U.S. is expected to complete a global defense posture review in June and announce a new European military deployment plan, according to his remarks.
