According to Kitco News, Poland's National Bank (NBP) has purchased 82 tonnes of gold so far this year, with Governor Adam Glapiński stating on Thursday that the central bank is "consistently buying gold, taking advantage of the recent price drops." The bank bought approximately 19 tonnes in June alone, according to data from the World Gold Council. The NBP currently holds 632.4 tonnes of gold and is working toward a 700-tonne reserve target, with roughly 100 tonnes stored in Poland and the remainder held in London and New York.
