Qualcomm Partners with Meta on Data Center AI, Targets $400B Non-Smartphone Revenue by 2029

Qualcomm announced today (June 25) a multi-year strategic partnership with Meta, introducing new data center AI solutions including Dragonfly C1000 CPU, high-bandwidth compute (HBC), and Dragonfly AI300 inference accelerator. The collaboration involves 35 suppliers across Qualcomm's ecosystem, including Taiwan-based manufacturers UMC, Nanya Technology, Compal Electronics, Gigabyte Technology, and Foxconn, all of which are expected to benefit from the expanded business.

Qualcomm raised its 2029 fiscal year target for non-smartphone revenue to $40 billion, nearly double its previous $22 billion forecast. The new data center AI infrastructure business alone is projected to exceed $15 billion in revenue by 2029 fiscal year.
