According to Protos, Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin distribution shifted to approximately 53% on Ethereum and 47% on the XRP Ledger as of June 16, down from 88% on Ethereum just months earlier. Ethereum now hosts roughly $879 million in RLUSD while the XRP Ledger holds approximately $760 million, reflecting growing adoption within Ripple's native ecosystem.
The narrowing gap underscores Ripple's strategy to expand RLUSD usage on XRPL while maintaining access to Ethereum's liquidity. This week, RLUSD expanded further with new trading pairs on Gate, adding liquidity for institutional and retail participants.
