Russia Considers Banning Diesel Exports Amid Fuel Market Strain on June 23

According to Jin10, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak said on June 23 that the fuel market situation, though complex, remains manageable, and the country is capable of addressing current challenges. Russia is considering a diesel export ban.

To boost fuel supply, authorities have delayed refinery maintenance, increased oil company production to maximum levels, and are drawing down fuel reserves. Novak also announced proposed tax changes aimed at enhancing fuel availability.
