Satellite Images Show Iran Rebuilds Nuclear Facilities in Late June to Early July, Raising Accord Concerns

According to CNN satellite imagery analysis released on July 11, Iran appeared to be rebuilding parts of nuclear and missile-related facilities between late June and early July. Satellite images showed new activity at multiple Iranian locations during this period, with particular focus on the Taleghan 2 facility at the Parchin military base, where repairs to craters caused by previous airstrikes were visible. The facility has been associated by some experts with nuclear weapons material storage. CNN analysis also noted vehicle movement in and out of an underground tunnel at a suspected nuclear facility known as Mt. Alborz during the period following a U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding signed on June 17.
