According to Serenity on X, semiconductor company Sivers Semiconductors (SIVE) has completed a funding round of 700 million Swedish kronor (SEK), with funding oversubscribed by multiples and the raise size increased slightly above original plans. The round priced at 57 SEK per share, close to the current market price of approximately 63 SEK.
Proceeds will primarily fund expanded production capacity for indium phosphide (InP) lasers and optical amplifiers, supporting SIVE's transition to a fab-light manufacturing model. Serenity noted the financing signals SIVE may have reached a critical inflection point for scaled growth, with institutional capital inflow reducing balance sheet risk and supporting the company's path toward high-volume manufacturing.
