SoftBank Launches AI Cloud Service in US, Targeting 10 Gigawatts Capacity by 2030

According to Bloomberg, SoftBank and its telecom subsidiary plan to launch an AI cloud service through SB Neo Inc. starting next fiscal year, offering U.S. enterprises AI computing resources. The joint venture targets approximately 10 gigawatts of data center capacity by around 2030 for large-scale AI model training and inference.

SoftBank has already secured OpenAI as a customer, with the parent company committing to invest approximately $65 billion in the platform by October.
