According to Herald Economy, domestic investors in South Korea accumulated net purchases of $675.55 million in SK Hynix American Depositary Receipts (ADR) from July 10-24, ranking as the top net-bought U.S. stock during the period. Most of the buying momentum occurred in the first two trading days, with investors purchasing $173.41 million on July 10 and $344.84 million on July 13, accounting for approximately 71% of total net purchases.
Since the July 10 listing, SK Hynix ADR has maintained a 33.2% premium compared to shares trading on domestic exchanges, despite the gap narrowing from an earlier peak of 52%. The domestic stock declined 19.3% to 1,759,000 won over the same period, while ADR fell 8.0% to $154.57. The cross-listing begins mutual conversion on July 29.
