South Korea Plans Low-Orbit Satellite Network of Hundreds of Satellites by 2035

According to Yonhapnews, South Korea's government announced on July 3 its plan to build a low-orbit satellite communication network comprising hundreds of satellites by 2035. The project is considered core infrastructure for national security and communications sovereignty, as well as a strategic foundation supporting the 6G era. The construction is expected to strengthen South Korea's satellite and launch vehicle research and manufacturing capabilities.
