South Korea: Young Crypto Holders Show Lower Fairness Perception, Study Finds

According to a report released today by South Korea's National Assembly Future Institute, young cryptocurrency holders exhibit significantly lower perception of social fairness compared to non-holders. Digital asset holders scored 2.25 on fairness perception, versus 2.38 for non-holders and 2.35-2.36 for stock and savings product holders on a four-point scale. The study, based on a sample of 5,000 households of adults aged 19-39, also found that crypto holders are more likely to attribute poverty to systemic structural issues rather than individual shortcomings, scoring 4.46 on poverty causation versus 4.85 for non-holders. The research suggests digital asset adoption correlates with skepticism toward social mobility and critical perception of Korea's economic structure.
