South Korea's KOSPI Falls 5.99% Today, SK Hynix Hits Record Daily Decline

According to Bitget market data, South Korea's KOSPI index closed down 360.58 points, or 5.99%, at 5,663.08 today, marking its lowest closing level since April 7 and triggering circuit breakers during the session. Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 930.73 points, or 1.49%, to 61,434.19. In individual stocks, SK Hynix dropped 9.6% with an intraday decline exceeding 17%, while Samsung Electronics fell 5.2%.
