South Korea's KOSPI Rebounds 6.83% to 7,325, Hits 7,000 Level on Semiconductor Rally

According to the Korean Exchange, KOSPI recovered to 7,325.25 on July 15, up 6.83% intraday, reclaiming the 7,000 level. The rally was led by semiconductor stocks, with Samsung Electronics rising 5.32% and SK Hynix surging 11.66%, recovering above 2 million won per share. The rebound followed a sharp selloff earlier in the week, when the index had dropped to the 6,400 range amid concerns over softening AI investment growth, rising oil prices amid U.S.-Iran tensions, and inflation worries.
