South Korea's Land Prices Rise 1.22% in H1 2026, Seoul Climbs 2.32%

According to South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Real Estate Board, released on July 23, nationwide land prices posted a 1.22% increase in the first half of 2026, with Seoul recording a steeper gain of 2.32%—marking the highest semi-annual rise since the second half of 2021. Land transaction volume grew 2.2% compared to the previous half, reaching approximately 945,000 parcels covering 574.2 square kilometers.
