South Korea's NH Nonghyup Finance Posts Record H1 Profits, Securities Unit Surges 107.5%

According to Yonhap Infomax, South Korea's NH Nonghyup Finance posted record-high profits in the first half of 2026, driven primarily by its securities subsidiary NH Investment & Securities. NH Investment & Securities generated approximately 965.2 billion Korean won in net profit during H1, up 107.5% from 500.1 billion won in the same period last year, enabling the parent company to rank fourth among major financial holding companies and surpass Woori Financial Group. KB Financial Group maintained the top position with 3.88 trillion won in H1 net profit, followed by Shinhan Financial Group with 3.44 trillion won.
