Soybean Meal Spot Prices Decline Across Multiple Chinese Markets on May 18

According to Jin10 Futures, on May 18, soybean meal (43% protein) spot prices showed mixed weakness across China. East China markets weakened, with prices in Taizhou and Taixing down 10 yuan/ton at 2,860 yuan/ton, while Ningbo Jinguang held steady at 2,890 yuan/ton. Guangdong remained flat at 2,840 yuan/ton across major trading hubs. Sichuan-Chongqing region posted declines of 10–20 yuan/ton, with Chengdu at 3,060 yuan/ton down 20. Jiangxi saw sharper weakness, with Jiujiang COFCO down 30 to 2,900 yuan/ton. Guangxi remained stable at 2,850 yuan/ton. Data sourced from Mysteel.
