S&P 500, Nasdaq Rise Overnight; Apple Surges 4% as Tech Stocks Lead on July 16

According to Jin10, U.S. stock indices closed higher on July 16, with the S&P 500 up 0.38% to 7,572.4 points and the Nasdaq up 0.62% to 26,269.23 points. Technology stocks led gains, with Apple surging over 4% and Google rising more than 3%. The Dow Jones advanced 0.29% to 52,658.64 points. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 2.92%, with Miniso Global up over 9%.

Meanwhile, European indices closed mixed: Germany's DAX fell 0.59%, France's CAC 40 rose 0.19%, and the UK's FTSE 100 declined 0.13%. Oil prices gained, with WTI crude up 1.13% to $80.24 per barrel. Precious metals retreated, with COMEX gold down 0.07% and silver falling 1.70%.
