Spot Gold Breaks Below $4,000 Level, Falls 2.86% on Wednesday; Silver Plunges 6.72%

On Wednesday (June 24), spot gold fell 2.86% to $3,999.08 per ounce, breaking below the $4,000 psychological support level. COMEX gold futures declined 3.21% to $4,016.40 per ounce, with intraday lows reaching $3,975.70. Spot silver dropped 6.72% to $57.45 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures fell 6.64% to $57.94 per ounce. COMEX copper futures declined 2.57% to $6.05 per pound, while spot platinum fell 4.25% and palladium slid 5.01%.
