According to BlockBeats, Stader Labs announced on June 13 that it is discontinuing MaticX operations, with the official DApp interface shutting down on August 3, 2026. MaticX will no longer accept new deposits and will transition to withdrawal-only mode. Users must redeem their MATIC assets before August 3; after that date, the web interface will be unavailable and redemptions can only be processed via smart contract on Etherscan.
On June 19, 2026, the exchange rate between MaticX and MATIC will be permanently locked and serve as the final settlement rate for all future withdrawals. Users can redeem through the existing DApp or Etherscan until August 3, and remain able to claim assets via Etherscan contract for three years until August 3, 2029. Stader Labs will provide a detailed guide for contract-based claims before the DApp closes.
