Tesla Recruiting Semiconductor Talent in Taiwan for Terafab Project

Gate News message, April 17 — Tesla is recruiting semiconductor engineering talent in Taiwan for its Terafab project, according to postings on Tesla’s official careers page. The Terafab project was formally announced by Elon Musk in March 2026 and aims to build a vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturing hub encompassing chip design, lithography, manufacturing, memory production, advanced packaging, and testing.

Tesla has posted at least nine key engineering positions in Taiwan, requiring candidates with over five years of experience. The roles focus on 2-nanometer-level processes and advanced semiconductor technologies below 7 nanometers.
