UAE Accelerates Pipeline Bypass Project, Oil Export Capacity to Double in 2027

According to a statement from Abu Dhabi’s media office on May 15, the UAE is accelerating construction of a new pipeline that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz, with the project led by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Once operational in 2027, the pipeline will double crude oil export capacity through Fujairah port. The project is currently in the construction phase.
