According to Ukrainian military sources, Ukraine conducted overnight strikes on Russian oil and gas facilities on May 31-June 1. The General Staff reported attacks on multiple targets, while the Armed Forces separately confirmed a strike on the Saratov refinery. Meanwhile, Russia reported that transport vehicles at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station were damaged, with six commuter vehicles destroyed; Ukraine denied responsibility for the nuclear site incident. Additionally, the European Union is considering suspending the dynamic price cap on Russian oil amid rising energy costs from the conflict.
