U.S. Adds Average 92,000 Jobs Monthly Over Past Six Months, Highest Since Early 2025

According to Nick Timiraos, Federal Reserve communications official, the private sector added an average of 88,000 jobs per month over the past six months, marking the fastest pace in two years. Total nonfarm employment increased an average of 92,000 jobs monthly over the same period, the highest rate since early 2025.
