On June 22, U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Rochon dismissed all five claims brought by precious metals trading company Bullion Trading LLC against JPMorgan Chase. The company had alleged that JPMorgan Chase cancelled a legitimate wire transfer and defamed it as a fraudulent enterprise, seeking damages of at least $500,000 for reputational harm, lost revenue, and economic losses. The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the case for insufficient pleadings.
