U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Drop 7.227 Million Barrels in Week Ended June 5

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), crude oil inventories fell 7.227 million barrels in the week ended June 5, exceeding analyst expectations of a 3.974 million barrel decline. The prior week saw a larger drawdown of 7.974 million barrels.
