Gate News message, April 20 — The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing to revoke wireless product testing credentials held by Chinese laboratories, according to HuaCe Testing Technology Group during an earnings call. The proposal is expected to pass by end of April, with a two-year transition period following implementation.
HuaCe Testing noted that while the regulatory change will impact all domestic Chinese laboratories, its own exposure is limited, as the affected business segment represents a small portion of total revenue. The company indicated the overall impact on its operations remains manageable.
