U.S. Individual Investors' Bearish Sentiment Hits 47.7%, Approaching Year-High 52%

According to the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) sentiment survey, bearish sentiment among U.S. individual investors surged to 47.7% in the past week, approaching the year-to-date high of 52% recorded on March 18. The reading remains significantly above the historical average of 31%.
