GateNews

According to CBS News, the Pentagon and Defense Intelligence Agency began analyzing potential Cuban responses to a hypothetical U.S. attack earlier this month, as U.S. intelligence tracked a Russian-flagged, sanctions-busting oil tanker named Universal heading to Cuba. Two American officials said military options for the Trump administration are being prepared.

U.S. intelligence assessments are ongoing and not yet conclusive. CBS News also confirmed that Cuba has acquired offensive drones, though the source and method of acquisition remain unclear.
