U.S.-Iran Deal Expected to Boost Middle East Tourism Recovery, Regional Flight Capacity Down 10.1%

According to Carlos Cendra of Data Appeal Company, on June 18, a U.S.-Iran agreement could support Middle East tourism by restoring visitor confidence and improving perceptions of regional security. The deal is expected to limit spillover effects that often deter tourism to destinations not directly involved in conflicts. Western Asia's international scheduled flight capacity declined 10.1% in May and June compared to pre-conflict levels, Cendra noted.
