U.S. Secretary Rubio: Japan to Reduce Middle East Oil Imports, Increase U.S. Purchases

According to U.S. Secretary of State Rubio in an interview with Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), Japan will gradually reduce oil imports from the Middle East and increase purchases from the United States and other regions. Rubio stated that U.S. oil and natural gas exports to Japan have already reached historic levels, with additional supply capacity available to support Japan during the transition period.
